STATEMENT ON THE FOILED AMBUSH OF GOVERNOR ADIONG<\/p>\n

We denounce the ambush incident in Maguing, Lanao del Sur, which killed four security personnel (Inna lillahi wa inna iaihi raji\u2019un) and wounded Governor Mamintal Bombit Adiong Jr. and his staff earlier today.<\/p>\n

We express our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victims and offer our prayers for the speedy recovery of the wounded.<\/p>\n

We call upon the authorities to fully investigate this incident, to bring the perpetrators to trial and ensure that the victims\u2019 families receive justice.<\/p>\n
