PUBLICATIONS:
As part of our effort to open the communication between the government and the people through different channels, the Office of MP Rasol Y. Mitmug, Jr. is providing an online resource platform for experts and interest groups to facilitate public access to legislative documents of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority.
Aligned with people’s right to information and call for moral governance, MP Mitmug hopes for an easier access to information through a convenient form of publication of legislative materials such as e-books.
For its first set of publication, the Office has launched two e-books in celebration of Bangsamoro Foundation Day.
The first is the Bangsamoro Organic Law (Republic Act 11054), a landmark legislation that abolished the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and created the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
The second e-book is Bangsamoro Autonomy Act No. 13, or the Bangsamoro Administrative Code. The BAC is one of the priority codes of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, and defines the structural, functional, and procedural principles and rules of the Bangsamoro region’s governance.
It is the Office’s goal that these will be valuable resources for students, teachers, lawyers, and everyday citizens who wish to read and understand the new Bangsamoro government.
