Ebook launch: Bangsamoro Civil Service Code

The Office of MP Rasol Y. Mitmug, Jr. is launching its fourth e-book, this time on the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code.

The BCSC, or Bangsamoro Autonomy Act No. 17, was passed in February of this year. It is one of the priority codes of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, and covers the conduct of civil servants, qualifications for non-elective positions, the merit and fitness system, among others.

COTABATO CITY — BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim signed on February 24, 2021 the Bangsamoro Autonomy Act No. 17 or the BANGSAMORO CIVIL SERVICE CODE (BCSC).

Ceremonial Signing of the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code

COTABATO CITY —Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim and BTA Parliament Speaker Atty. Ali Pangalian Balindong led the ceremonial signing of the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code on Wednesday, February 24.

The signing was held during BTA’s Session No. 54 of its second regular session.The enacted law shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication. See more. (Bangsamoro Information Office)

BCSC: 3rd reading; Approval

COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) on Wednesday, Feb. 24, approved another one of its priority legislations – the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code (BCSC).

The code will govern the conduct of civil servants, prescribe qualifications for non-elective positions, adopt an independent and credible merit and fitness system, protect civil service eligibles in various government positions, including government-owned and controlled corporations with original charters in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, and provide rules on disciplinary authority over the Bangsamoro Government’s officials and employees.

By nominal voting, 67 BTA members voted both physically and via zoom for the approval of Cabinet Bill No. 59. None of the members voted against nor abstained.

BTA Opens Period of Amendments for BCSC

COTABATO CITYThe Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) opened the period of amendments today, Feb. 23, for Parliament Bill No. 59 or the proposed Bangsamoro Civil Service Code.

BTA Opens Period of Interpellation for BCSC

COTABATO CITYThe Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) started today, Feb. 16, the period of interpellation for Parliament Bill No. 59 or the proposed Bangsamoro Civil Service Code.

BTA Adopts Committee Report on BCSC

COTABATO CITYBangsamoro Transition Authority’s (BTA) Committee on Rules (COR) on Thursday, Jan. 28, submitted to the plenary its report on Cabinet Bill No. 59 or the proposed Bangsamoro Civil Service Code.

The bill, authored by the Government of the Day, was filed in the plenary July 27 last year.

Priority Codes Secretariat transmits Committee Report No. 53 on BTA Parliament Bill No. 59, otherwise known as the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code.

Committee on Rules Continues Deliberations on BCSC

COTABATO CITYBTA Committee on Rules approved Cabinet Bill No. 59 or the proposed Bangsamoro Civil Service Code with amendments introduced by some Members of Parliament and by the technical working group (TWG) headed by Deputy Majority Leader Atty. BCSC Panel Holds 4th and 5th Round of Consultations with HRMOs and other Sectors

COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament concluded today, November 11, 2020 a three-day series of panel consultation on Cabinet Bill No. 59, otherwise known as the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code (BCSC) held at the BTA Extension Office, De Mazenod Avenue, this city.

BCSC Panel Holds 2nd and 3rd Round of Consultations with Local Chief Executives
COTABATO CITY — On today’s resumption of the panel consultation for the proposed Bangsamoro Civil Service Code (BCSC), several members of the leagues of mayors, vice-mayors, barangays, and councilors in the BARMM participated as resource persons.
 
The consultation was presided over by panel member MP Omar Yasser Sema, who represented panel chair MP Raissa Jajurie. MP Aida Silongan and BARMM Attorney General Sha Elijah Alba, chair and vice-chair of the cabinet committee for the BCSC, were also present. Read more. (Bureau of Public Information)

BCSC Holds 1st Round of Consultations with Experts

COTABATO CITY — Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) started today the series of panel consultations for the proposed Bangsamoro Civil Service Code (BCSC) or the BTA-Cabinet Bill No. 59.

The panel, constituted by the BTA’s Committee on Rules (COR), will conduct the consultation until November 11 at the BTA’s extension office in De Mazenod Avenue, Cotabato City.

The panel is chaired by Member of Parliament (MP) Atty. Raissa Jajurie, with MP Engr. Aida Silongan as vice-chair. Members include MPs Ziaur-Rahman Adiong, Eddie Alih, Suharto Ambolodto, Baintan Ampatuan, Susana Anayatin, Anna Tarhata Basman, Musa Diamla, Maisara Latiph, Jose Lorena, Jamel Macaraya, Khadafeh Mangudadatu, Amilbahar Mawallil, Rasul Mitmug, Ubaida Pacasem, Diamila Ramos, Romeo Saliga, Omar Yasser Sema, Romeo Sema, Paisalin Tago, Nabil Tan, and Adzfar Usman, with ex officio members such as Parliament Speaker Ali Balindong, Deputy Speaker Hatimil Hassan, Majority Floor Leader Lanang Ali, Jr., and Minority Leader Laisa Alamia. BLGC, BCSC, and the BAC Referred to Committee on Rules

COTABATO CITY — The three (3) priority codes, the Local Government Code (Cabinet Bill No. 58), the Civil Service Code (Cabinet Bill No. 59), and the Administrative Code (Cabinet Bill No. 60) were referred to the Committee on Rules on its Second Reading.

Chief Minister Ebrahim transmits 3 among 6 priority codes to BTA Parliament

Cotabato City – Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim transmitted on Wednesday, July 22, through the Office of the Secretary-General the Bangsamoro Administrative Code (Cabinet Bill No. 60), Bangsamoro Civil Service Code (Cabinet Bill No. 59) and the Bangsamoro Local Governance Code of 2020 (Cabinet Bill No. 58) to the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament. First Reading of the BLGC, the BCSC, and the BAC

COTABATO CITY — Three (3) priority codes of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) were introduced in plenary today and went through the first stage of legislation. The codes, which were authored by the Government of the Day, are the Local Government Code (Cabinet Bill No. 58), the Civil Service Code (Cabinet Bill No. 59), and the Administrative Code (Cabinet Bill No. 60). Government of the Day Files 3 Priority Codes

BCSC: Presentation of the Bill to the Cabinet

COTABATO CITY — After series of extensive consultation to various stakeholders, the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code was finally presented Wednesday, July 08, 2020 to the cabinet members of the Bangsamoro government with the presence of Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim.
