On January 21, 2019, the Philippine government held a two-part plebiscite on whether the ARMM provinces and nearby Muslim-dominant areas would vote yes to the Bangsamoro Organic Law. In significance of this date, the Bangsamoro Government has launched a series of activities beginning today, January 18, in celebration of its Founding Anniversary on January 21st.
